What is the role of Client Servicing Team in The Media Ant?

Client Servicing Team is responsible for handling all inbound queries from the advertisers and executing the ad campaigns.

The inquiries come through emails and phone calls. The queries range from how to use the site, to get the best rates and a marketing plan. CS team then works with Media Planning and Partnerships team to reply to these queries.

Once the campaign has been confirmed, the CS team works with the Partnerships team to ensure the proper execution of these campaigns.

For e,g: Amazon wants to know the best rate for Times of India, Mumbai half-page ad. They drop an mail to the CS team. CS Team takes this requirement, checks with the Newspaper team in Partnerships and shares the discounted rate.  Amazon decides to go ahead with the ad. CS Team coordinates with Amazon to get the ad, sends it to Media Ant’s Partnerships team, sends proof of execution to Amazon and collects money.

Summary of the work involved are:

  1. Inquiry Handling: Replies to client queries for information and best rates
  2. Media Planning: Understand client requirement and share media plans
  3. Campaign Closure: Works towards getting business from these campaigns. This involves understanding client requirements, recommending the right media plan (with the Planning team’s help), getting the best rates (with the help of Partnerships team) and proper follow up to close business.
  4. Campaign Execution: Ensures proper execution of marketing campaigns. Remains the primary point of contact for the client through the campaign.

    Everyday job involved -  Team Partnerships

    •  About 50% of the work is replying to emails and handling client calls
    •   Remaining 50% is split between campaign execution and media planning

    Academic Qualification

    1.   MBA with more than 65% across 10th, 12th, Graduation and MBA
    2.   Specialization in Marketing is compulsory

    Work experience requirement

      Between 0- 2 years of work experience
