Role of Media Buying team in The Media Ant
The primary role of the team is to negotiate the best media buying rates from the vendors and ensure flawless execution of the media campaigns. The secondary role involves finding new vendors, getting media-related information from them (rates, images, reach, etc.), and timely sharing of the data with the Marketplace team.
Key responsibilities:
- Effectively runs the day-to-day planning and buying on key accounts.
- Builds and develops media owner relationships in order to drive market-leading planning for clients.
- Develop digital media plans and approaches based on consumer insights and digital media dynamics
- Manage the day-to-day implementation, optimization, and performance of ongoing campaigns. Assist in strategic analysis of campaigns
- Manage day-to-day client interaction along with the final plan presentation to the client
- Engage with teams within and outside of the agency to develop a synchronous and harmonized working relationship that makes work efficient, productive, and fun!
Everyday Job Involved:
- Negotiating best rates from the media owners and other vendors
- On-time execution, monitoring, and reporting of the campaigns
- Achieve profitability of their respective media verticals
Skills and experience required:
- 1-2 years of Digital media planning and buying experience
- Thorough understanding of the media process, media department and inter-department relationships
- Knowledge and application of media systems, planning concepts (reach, frequency, Performance, etc.), packages, and databases
- Hands-on knowledge of third-party trackers like Appsflyer, Sizmek, Branch etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
