The location of this restaurant is truly fantastic, with an amazing view from the 20th floor. The ambiance is great, and the decor is lovely. As it was on Valentine's Day we had to wait a great deal of time. Firstly we went to Altair which was quiet crowded and had to make reservations only after paying INR 4K. So we shifted to Rendezvous which was right beside AltAir, where we had to wait for an hour before we were given a seat. We enjoyed a delicious veg pizza, fish tikka, cocktail, and tiramisu. Our bill was INR 2.9K. The red velvet cake was a complimentary treat on Valentine's Day. The food quality was excellent, though it is quite a high-end and expensive place. You will find more rooftop restaurants within budget.

An unforgettable dining experience at Capella, Altair I recently visited Capella at Altair with my husband, and I must say—we were completely overwhelmed by the deliciousness of the food and the amazing service. We started with Chicken Tikka and a Fish Tikka in the starters, and both were absolutely spot on—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. For the main course, we had Hakka Noodles, Garlic Naan, and Dal Makhni, and honestly, the main course was even better than the starters. The Garlic Naan deserves a special mention—OMG! It was so fluffy with the perfect balance of garlic, just divine. 🥹✨ To end the meal, we had The Goat Brownie, and it was truly out of the world. A perfect ending to an already perfect meal. A big shoutout to our server Shahnawaz, who was extremely welcoming and guided us with the best food choices based on our preferences. His service made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Capella exceeded our expectations in every way—food, service, and ambiance. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to visit again! 💛🍽️

We visited ALTAIR CAPELLA last night to celebrate Valentine’s Day, expecting a premium dining experience given its reputation. Unfortunately, the evening turned out to be extremely disappointing and completely ruined what was meant to be a special occasion. Despite having a reservation, we were made to wait nearly two hours for a table. During this time, I briefly walked inside to check the ambience and clearly noticed several tables available. It appeared that guests were being deliberately kept waiting, possibly to create artificial hype. This was both frustrating and unprofessional. Once we were finally seated, the service continued to deteriorate. I repeatedly had to approach the waiter just to place our order. Even after half an hour, no one attended to our table until I escalated the matter to the manager. Only then did a waiter come to take our order. The food itself took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive. What made it worse was that the main course arrived incomplete — no drinks, no starters — just the food. We had to repeatedly remind both the waiter and the manager about our pending drinks and starters. It was exhausting having to chase the staff for basic service throughout the evening. The management clearly seemed understaffed and unprepared for the Valentine’s Day crowd. If they did not have adequate staff to handle the reservations, they should not have continued accepting guests. For a place that promotes itself as a premium, five-star establishment, the service standards were shockingly poor. We also noticed several other tables arguing with staff or leaving midway due to similar issues. Eventually, we had to cancel our order and leave, returning home hungry after spending hours there. This was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing dining experiences we have ever had. A special occasion was completely ruined due to poor management, lack of coordination, and unacceptable service standards. I sincerely hope the management takes customer feedback seriously and works on improving their service quality, staffing, and overall guest handling — because the ambience and brand image alone cannot compensate for such a disappointing experience.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to Mr. Shahnawaz. He was extremely polite, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. He made sure we were comfortable, guided us well with the menu, and checked on us at the right time without being intrusive. His friendly attitude and professional service truly enhanced our dining experience. Highly appreciated and recommended!
