BARC has underlined that Ravivaar with Star Parivar, a non-fiction show airing on Star Plus is the top-notch favourite across weeks in a row now. As per the recent numbers, till now the show has witnessed a reach of 74 Mn viewers in the Most Tuned-in Studio Non-Fiction legacy show category. 

Rolling Stone has announced the launch of Rolling Stone Bharat, a bi-lingual content platform. The platform will be an inclusive, Hinglish-language video portal for news and content related to music, lifestyle and youth culture. Rolling Stone Bharat will be launched as an all-access streaming channel as a part of JioTV Specials.

Disney+ Hotstar witnessed a jump of 30% YoY to 58.4 Mn for the quarter ended in 2nd Jul compared to 44.9 Mn in the same quarter last year. The paid subscriber base increased by 27.23% from 45.9 Mn for the quarter ended on 1st Jan. 

Sony Entertainment has acquired the broadcasting rights for the Indian adaptation of the culinary reality show, ‘MasterChef’ distributed and produced by Endemol Shine India. The show is expected to bring in a lot of viewers due to its mass appeal and can be a great opportunity for advertisers. 

Aaj Tak has announced the launch of a new channel for digital platforms named ‘ Aaj Tak 2’. The channel will be led by Anjana Om Kashyap and is eyeing to increase its viewership. 

RAM Ratings Week 25’22 – 28’22: Fever FM leads in Mumbai & Delhi. Big FM took the top spot in Bangalore and Radio Mirchi was the leader in Kolkata.

BARC’s top 5 advertisers of week 32 (6th Aug – 12th Aug 2022) are -Reckitt Benckiser Group, Hindustan Lever Ltd, GODREJ, Procter & Gamble, Coca Cola India.

According to BARC weekly data, the following were the top 5 paid TV channels in week 32 ( 6th Aug – 12th Aug 2022) – 

Paid–  Sun TV, Star Maa, Goldmines, Star Plus, Dangal.
