1. Fever FM maintained it’s lead in Mumbai and Delhi, while Radio City tops in Bangalore and Radio Mirchi in Kolkata in week 23rd-26th (Ram Radio Ratings) 

2. The movie genre on TV registered a growth of 49% in overall ad volumes in the first week of August while compared with the first week of June. The Hindi movie genre has topped in ad volumes with a 46% share in total ad volume in the same comparison period- TAM Adex

3. HiPi, the short video platform by Zee5 has finally launched in the market. The platform can be accessed on the Zee5 app, where content creators can upload a video of up to 90secs with audio and other filters and features. 

4. According to the experts- FMCG, which contributes almost 40% in Indian Adex, will focus more on TV and Digital advertising during this festive season. 

5. EY released a new report- Life in a pandemic which highlights some obvious and other not-so-obvious changes in consumer habits and behavior patterns that marketers must address.

8. BARC- Top 5 advertisers of 31st week (1st-7th August): Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Reckitt Benckiser (INDIA) Ltd, ITC Ltd, Amazon Online India, Wipro LTD. 

9. According to BARC weekly data following were the top 5 free and pay-TV channels in the 30th week (1st-7th August)- 

  • Pay–  Sun TV, Star Plus, Sony SAB,  Star Maa, Zee Telugu.
  • Free– Zee Anmol, Star Utsav, Dangal, Colors Rishtey, Sony Pal.
